Computer Sciences Corporation has signed an information technology (IT) outsourcing agreement with British Nuclear Group, a leading provider of nuclear site management, decommissioning and clean-up services. The estimated value of the agreement to CSC is approximately $135 million over five years.
Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (ACS) has been awarded an additional information technology (IT) outsourcing contract with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), the second-largest pharmaceutical company in the world. The contract is valued at $100.5 million over five years.
Perot Systems Corporation has entered into an agreement to provide revenue cycle outsourcing solutions to Northwest Hospital & Medical Center, based in Seattle.
Unisys Corporation has signed a contract extension to manage call center services for Compañía Anoníma Nacional Telefonos de Venezuela (Cantv). Under the contract extension, signed in the second quarter of 2005 and with a value estimated at approximately $12 million over two years, Unisys will continue to provide services ranging from operator assistance to customer service.
State Street Global Advisors (SSgA), the investment management arm of State Street Corporation and the largest institutional fund manager in the world, announced has been selected by Assuranceforeningen Skuld (Skuld) to manage $330 million of its multi-asset insurance portfolio.
BMC Software has chosen Symphony Service Corporation to provide Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) services, including product development, quality assurance and level three customer support for selected BMC products. Unlike other traditional outsourcing engagements, Symphony Services and BMC will share development outcomes and compensation for products that Symphony's Global Operations Centers manage for BMC.
