ACS NAMES NEW CHIEF EXECUTIVE...Mark King has been named President and new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Affiliated Computer Services (ACS). King, who has been with the company since its founding, has served in a variety of top management positions. Most recently, he held the position of President and Chief Operating Officer (COO). Jeff Rich will be leaving the company and vacating his position on the Board to pursue other business ventures.
HEWITT, EXULT MERGER ONE YEAR LATER...A year after Hewitt Associates merged with Exult, Inc., it has strengthened its lead in the HR BPO industry, signing 14 new HR BPO clients and holding a 37 percent market share.1 The firm serves more than 300 companies with benefits outsourcing services and more than 30 companies with HR BPO services.
RESOURCE GROUP GETS $30 MILLION INVESTMENT FROM AIG...AIG Capital Partners, Inc. has made a $30 million investment in The Resource Group International, Ltd. (TRG) through the AIG Global Emerging Markets Fund II, L.P. and affiliates of AIG. Founded in 2002, TRG is a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) firm, with over $170 million in revenues and more than 4,000 employees in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia.

PAYCHEX PROCESSING KATRINA CHECKS...Paychex, Inc. is processing, printing and mailing the first of thousands of disaster relief checks for victims of Hurricane Katrina in Louisiana. Paychex has partnered with the American Red Cross and Hibernia National Bank, the largest banking organization in Louisiana, in this initiative to provide emergency funds to people affected by the disaster.
