The Ministry of Justice in Bavaria, Germany's largest state, has extended its IT outsourcing contract with Unisys Germany through the end of 2008 for services to modernize and manage the Ministry's IT infrastructure. The multimillion-dollar extension was signed in the fourth quarter of 2005.
MicroTRAK GPS, Inc., a leading provider of Global Positioning Systems (GPS) technology and products has selected Plano, Texas-based Perot Systems Corporation to deliver full Information Technology (IT) infrastructure and business process outsourcing services as part of a new two-year contract.
Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. has been awarded a renewed business processing outsourcing (BPO) contract with Aetna, a leading provider of insurance and employee benefits products. The three-and-a-half- year contract is valued at $56 million.
