Perot Systems Corporation announced that its government services subsidiary was awarded a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) by the U.S. Coast Guard with an estimated value of $73 million over a five-year performance period to provide LAN/WAN support to its Office of Information Systems and Infrastructure.
Wipro Technologies (WIT) announced the signing of a global service contract with GM designed to integrate the company’s Middleware Systems and Information Systems and Services (IS&S) software tools around the world. The five-year agreement, terms of which were not released, was finalized in January 2006 and will be included in Wipro’s future new contract totals.
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) Langley Research Center (LaRC), Hampton, Va., awarded Unisys a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract with an estimated value of up to $49.2 million for Simulation and Flight Information Technology Services. The company has served NASA for 30 years.
ICG Commerce has been engaged by The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in a North American procurement initiative, launched to support the company's commitment to achieving cost reduction goals. As part of the engagement, ICG Commerce is partnering with the company's internal procurement organization to drive cost reductions that are expected to have a multi-million dollar impact on the company's bottom line.
Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. has been awarded a business processing outsourcing (BPO) contract providing call center services for Johns Hopkins HealthCare.
