ACCENTURE NAMES NEW CEO...The board of directors of Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has named CEO William D. Green, 52, to the additional position of chairman, effective Sept. 1. He will succeed Joe W. Forehand, who will retire as Accenture’s chairman on Aug. 31.
CERIDIAN REPORTS QUARTERLY, YEARLY RESULTS...Ceridian Corporation reported fourth quarter 2005 net earnings of $46.7 million, or $.32 per diluted share, on revenue of $379.5 million. Net earnings for the quarter were $11.0 million, or $.07 per diluted share, on revenue of $361.3 million. For the year ended December 31, 2005, net earnings were $127.9 million, or $.86 per diluted share, on revenue of $1,459.0 million. Net earnings were $36.9 million, or $.24 per diluted share, on revenue of $1,320.4 million.
LUXOFT NAMED TO GLOBAL SERVICES 100...Luxoft, Inc., Russia's leading software developer and IT services exporter, was named to the 2006 "Global Services 100" list of the world's most innovative business and technology service providers by Global Services magazine. The company was ranked as one of the "Top 5 to Watch in Central & Eastern Europe." This is Luxoft's second consecutive year on the list, known last year as the Offshore 100.
EMPLOYEASE POSTS RECORD QUARTER...Employease, a leading provider of on-demand HR, benefits administration and outsourcing solutions, posted record results for the three months ending December 31, 2005. Revenues grew 62 percent compared to the three months ending December 31, 2004. The quarter marked the company's 33rd consecutive quarter of revenue growth.
