Everest Research Institute Research Brief: Do Hewitt's Problems Signal Trouble Ahead for the HRO Industry?
Hewitt Associates sent shock waves through the HRO industry last week when it announced the retirement of its CEO at year end and the resignation of its president of HRO, effective immediately. At the same time, the company announced that it will be reviewing its guidance for the third quarter and full fiscal 2006 pending a review of its HRO contracts. Wall Street moved Hewitt's stock price down by 8% to a 52-week low on the day on these announcements.
What are the implications of the Hewitt announcements for the industry as a whole? The Everest Research Institute has issued a Research Brief that provides a detailed look at the implications. Michel Janssen, President of Supplier Solutions at Everest Group, and Marc Pramuk, Vice President of Research, HRO, at Everest Research Institute, are available to discuss the report.
