FIDELITY TO HANDLE TI'S BENEFITS ADMINISTRATION...Fidelity Investments been chosen by Texas Instruments to provide the company with benefits administration. Under the five year agreement, which will commence in January 2009, Fidelity will provide health and insurance administration, health management tools, as well as recordkeeping services, for Texas Instruments’ (TI) defined contribution and defined benefit plans. More than 13,000 active TI employees, as well as retirees and their families, will have access to Fidelity’s health and financial benefits platform.
INFOSYS WINS SUPPLIERS AWARDS...Infosys Technologies has been recognized as a top supplier by a number of customers in recent months. Eastman Chemical has awarded Infosys its Supplier Excellence Award for the second year running, which “recognizes the breadth of IT services and capabilities provided as well as the significant contribution to customer satisfaction and overall collaboration”, according to Keith Sturgill, VP & CIO. The Boeing Company awarded Infosys a 2007 Boeing Performance Excellence Award (BPEA) for achieving gold level of performance. Infosys was one of fewer than 50 companies out of approximately 10,000 Boeing suppliers worldwide. Cummins Inc. selected Infosys as a Global Preferred Vendor for Information Technology. The Cummins and Infosys teams will deploy IT solutions that will help Cummins grow to more than $20 billion in revenue over the next several years. Here’s the press release:
