WNS (Holdings) Limited has signed a six-year contract with SAS Airlines, the largest airline company in Scandinavia. This new contact is a renewal of WNS' existing five-year agreement to provide passenger revenue accounting services for SAS. Under the terms of the new contract, WNS will transition SAS from an in-house revenue accounting system to the Sirax AirFinance Platform. The new financial management system, combined with WNS’ process expertise, staff training capabilities and technical support, will enable SAS to manage over 40 million tickets annually and is expected to enable SAS to significantly reduce spending on revenue accounting.

Convergys Corporation has signed a new five-year license agreement and support and maintenance contract with BT for Infinys’ Rating and Billing Manager. The contract carries an option for a sixth year. Convergys is BT’s strategic billing partner and Infinys is BT’s rater and biller of choice. Convergys will support BT’s major business divisions including BT Retail, BT Wholesale, and BT Global Services.

Perot Systems Corporation announced that The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan has selected the company to manage the pilot deployment of VistA - an open source clinical and healthcare information management system - at two hospitals and a clinic in the capital, Amman. Jordan is recognized as providing one of the highest standards of healthcare in the region. It also has a rapidly growing IT sector that is gaining a reputable status in the region. King Abdullah II's vision is to continue to build on these successes by establishing an effective, integrated national healthcare infrastructure using a single software platform.

Media-Saturn IT Services GmbH, the information technology (IT)service company of Media-Saturn Group, and IBM have signed a five-year outsourcing contract. The contact is worth double-digit million Euro and includes the complete outsourcing of the data centers at Media-Saturn's locations in Ingolstadt and Munich, which have been operated centrally up to now.

IBM and leading power equipment manufacturer, ABB, have signed a three-year contract for hosting services for ABB’s SAP information system in Russia. ABB chose to partner with IBM to meet its 24/7 system availability requirements. As part of the hosting agreement, IBM will provide the hardware and software to keep ABB’s SAP information system in Russia up and running, design and deploy the SAP system landscape and help ensure day-to-day system operation and back-up.

Atos Origin, an international information technology services company and the E-Plus Group, Germany’s third-largest mobile telecommunications provider and a subsidiary of KPN, announced the renewal of their IT outsourcing agreement for a further five years. Atos Origin will provide the IT services for 21 business processes including IT infrastructure and application development services.
